The proper aim of giving is to put the recipients in a state where they no longer need our gifts.

The Saksham Team, as always, strives to help enable our society. However, it is unfortunate that these endeavours require funding. While our fundraisers help us meet this requirement, you can aid us as well.

Donate to our cause

The amount of ways in which we could help was tremendously surprising to us and I’m sure you will be surprised too.
Here are some things you can do

During our research, we learnt about the examination system for the visually impaired. This process involves scribes who read out the questions and write down the answers the students give.

The major problem here is with the process of getting a scribe. You can help with that…

The team often organizes workshops, seminars, and webinars for the students in our partner organizations. These are based on various topics, from health to awareness to entertainment and extra-curriculars.

You can volunteer to conduct one of these events or pitch your own idea, to help these students learn more about themselves and the world around them.

To continue our work, and help as many people as possible, there is a growing need for funds. Saksham organizes biannual fundraisers of various types, from bake sales and juice stands to competitions with an entrance fee.

You can volunteer to help with one of our fundraisers, or organize one in your own area, with our help.

You can also help one of our partner institutions, Captain Chandan Lal Middle School for Blind, by joining them as a physical education coach. The students of the school would greatly appreciate the presence of a PE teacher.

Contact us for more information regarding the same.

Away for you to express your Creativity while Supporting our cause.

Our team is looking to grow our project and spread awareness. For this, we are working on an Instagram page that would educate others, and show the severity and depth of these issues. You can send submissions of your work, and the best few would be posted on our Instagram page with all due credit. All submissions must have a theme of either underprivileged education or visual impairment. We are looking for entries in the following:

Poems or Song Lyrics, Visual Art (painting, sketches, digital art, 3D art, sculptures, etc.), Photography, Infographics or Posters, IGTV videos, Reels, Quotes

your contribution is always appreciated
